Keynote
One movement, taken all the way down. Main sessions, Sunday mornings, company all-hands.
Speaking
Daniel Shreves is a pastoral speaker for churches, conferences, ministry staff, and business leaders — on identity, calling, and finishing well.
Twenty-five years in ministry, most of them on the side of the platform nobody sees. He knows what it costs to keep a church running, and he knows what it costs the person running it.
Why churches invite Daniel
If you are looking for a speaker for your church, conference, or leadership team, you are probably weighing two things at once: will this land with our people, and will this person be easy to work with? Here is an honest answer to both.
He has carried what your people carry. Twenty-five years in ministry — leading teams, building the systems underneath them, and going through his own seasons of calling, collapse, surrender, and renewal. When he talks about serving God while quietly drifting from Him, it is not a sermon illustration. He is describing something he lived.
He speaks to leaders and to the whole room. A Sunday congregation, a staff that is running on fumes, a room full of business owners — the message underneath is the same, and he adjusts the language rather than the substance.
He knows your side of the table. As Director of Operations for Be Bold for Jesus Ministries, Daniel helps run a two-day conference at the Spokane Convention Center every fall. He has built the run sheet, chased the AV, and worked the resource table. He will not be the guest who makes your team’s week harder.
The result is a talk that does not stop at conviction. People leave anchored, and the leaders in the room leave with something they can actually change on Monday.
Signature talks
Each one runs as a Sunday message, a conference session, or a longer teaching block. Tell Daniel your theme and he will shape it to fit rather than drop it in beside yours.
The identity talk. What is left of you when the title, the platform, and the productivity are taken off the table — and why that is the only version of you God has ever been talking to.
Best for: Sunday services, conference main sessions, volunteer appreciation nights.
The ultimatum talk. Following Jesus past the comfortable edge is an invitation with a price tag — and so is declining it. This one does not soften the fork in the road.
Best for: Men’s events, discipleship weekends, next-steps and commitment moments.
The multiplication talk. What you are building right now is already echoing. This session turns that from a vague hope into a decision your people can name before they leave the room.
Best for: Leadership summits, board and staff gatherings, vision nights.
For the people running the thing. How ministry activity quietly replaces intimacy, what it costs a team, and how leaders can rebuild rhythms that hold. Honest about collapse, and about what came after it.
Best for: Pastoral staff, ministry leadership retreats, campus teams.
The business-side talk. Growth that does not burn people out is an operations problem before it is a motivation problem. Practical, systems-level, and grounded in the same identity argument.
Best for: Business groups, marketplace-faith gatherings, founder and operator audiences.
Every talk can be shaped to your theme. Send Daniel what your event is trying to accomplish and he will tell you honestly whether he is the right voice for it.

Past stages
Twenty-five years of platforms, from Sunday mornings to convention halls.
The annual two-day conference at the Spokane Convention Center, equipping people to live boldly for Jesus in everyday life. Daniel serves as Director of Operations and speaks into the event.
Home base. BORN is carried locally at Sower Bible Bookstore, and Daniel regularly speaks to churches and business groups across the Inland Northwest.
Long-form conversations on why he wrote the book, the message behind it, and helping people discover who God created them to be.
Before you reach out
Nothing here is a hurdle. If your situation is not covered, just ask.
Tell Daniel the size of your church or event and what you have budgeted, and he will give you a straight answer. He speaks for congregations of every size and would rather have the honest conversation early than price a church out of one.
Yes. Daniel is based in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and travels nationally. For churches across the Inland Northwest, travel is usually simple. Farther afield, he will lay out what it takes so there are no surprises on your budget line.
Yes — single services, multi-service weekends, and guest weekends while a pastor is away or on sabbatical. Send your series title and where the weekend sits in it, and the message will be built to serve your arc rather than interrupt it.
Often the most valuable hour of the visit. Daniel is glad to sit with pastoral staff, elders, or a leadership team while he is with you — teaching, or just an honest conversation about what the team is carrying.
Six weeks or more gives time for a planning call and promo assets. That said, gaps open and plans change — if your date is sooner, ask anyway.
Check availability
Tell him about your church or event and he will come back within two business days with availability and an honest answer on fit. If he is not the right voice for your room, he will say so and try to point you toward someone who is.
Daniel reads every one of these himself.
